And to prepare for that, the Six Nations TikTok women’s teams have a series of warm-up dates to help them prepare.

Italy began their World Cup warm-up against Canada in Langford last week but were eventually beaten 34-24 in Canada’s first home test in seven years.

A late push from captain Elisa Giordano, who crossed the line in the 74th minute, was not enough to defeat the Canadian team, but Le Azzurre will go against France again in September.

Ireland will travel to Japan for their two warm-up matches at the end of August.

Coach Greg McWilliams has named eight unselected players for his squad in a bid that the young squad can gain experience in preparation for the World Cup.

Ireland beat Japan 15-12 in November but will face a confident side after Japan recently won their opener against a team ranked in the top five in the world, beating Australia 12-10.

Scotland will face the United States and Spain in their two warm-up matches as they prepare for their first Rugby World Cup in 12 years.

Bryan Easson’s side will be tested against fourth-placed USA at the 2017 Rugby World Cup in Edinburgh, but will push against Spain just under a month before the start of the World Cup.

On September 3, France host Italy in Nice, the first warm-up match which will bring together two Six Nations teams ahead of their revenge in Italy a week later.

France finished third in the 2017 Rugby World Cup and, in the 2022 TikTok Women’s Six Nations, produced a controlled and clinical performance against Italy to win 39-6 at home.

And the Les Bleues team will want to build confidence ahead of New Zealand.

Wales announced a further 17 full-time contracts for their players earlier this month and hope the progression as a team will help them thrive this year.

Ioan Cunningham’s side will face Canada away before completing warm-up matches against England in Bristol.

England will play their two home warm-ups, playing the United States on September 3 and Wales on September 14.

The 2022 TikTok Women’s Six Nations champions were finalists last time out at the World Cup and are currently number one in the world.

While many expect England to win back the World Cup after last winning the title in 2014, their outings against the United States and Wales will prove just how well Simon’s side Middleton is doing well ahead of his trip to New Zealand in October.
