Dickson’s contract upgrade brings his salary closer to his production on the pitch, consistently placing him among the top performing bettors in the league.
In three seasons in Seattle, Dickson set a franchise record in average yards per punt in 2018 as a rookie, winning the All Pro selection that same season.
He would go on to break his own record for average yards in 2020, cementing himself as a key special teams asset for the mighty Seahawks team.
Formerly a member of the Sydney Swans Academy, Dickson switched to American football in 2015, lining up for the University of Texas through the Prokick Australia punting development program.
In his last outing for the Longhorns, Dickson achieved the rare feat of being named MVP in a bowl game as a bettor.
Seattle clearly liked what they saw and traded it in the fifth round draft of the 2018 NFL Draft.
